at the NCSY Kollel and Michlelet
Summer Programs

A limited number of $2,500 YU Mechinah Scholarships will be awarded to select students attending NCSY Kollel and Michlelet Summer Programs.

Procedure:  To receive consideration, applicants for the YU Mechina Scholarship must fax a completed scholarship application to David Cutler, Director of NCSY Summer Programs, at 212-613-0778 (To download the application, please click here.)

Applications must be received no later than March 17, 2008 and will be considered on a first-come first-served basis.  Note:  All scholarship decisions are solely determined by the YU Scholarship Committee.  Additionally, no scholarship application will be considered without the signature of the student’s NCSY Regional Director or local Rabbi.

Eligibility:  Students currently attending 10th and 11th grade in public high school.  Students attending non-Orthodox private high schools are also encouraged to apply.

GPA Requirements: 85 average or above. Preference will be shown to 11th graders who have taken and achieved a minimum SAT score of 1100. High school transcript and SAT score verification are required.
