Rabbi Jon Green- Camp Sports
Rabbi Jonathon Green serves as the Director of NCSY Camp Sports; When Rabbi Green is not in camp he is the Director of Student Activities at Yeshiva University High School for Boys, he also teaches Tanach and serves as Assistant Director of Recruitment for the Yeshiva University Mechina Division. He has been involved with the camp for over 15 years and has been lucky to meet make many lifelong friends in the summer. As a lifelong active member of the NCSY family, Rabbi Green grew up as an NCSyer in Atlantic Seaboard NCSY and worked in Long Island NCSY for fifteen years- serving as Regional Director for the last three. Rabbi Green received his rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva Sh’or Yoshuv in Far Rockaway, where he now resides with his wife, son and three daughters. Rabbi Green is known as an innovative and creative educator in formal and co-curricular education. His passion for Torah and sports insures that each summer is well rounded and healthy experience for the campers. Rabbi Green recently received his Masters degree in Leadership from Bellevue University, and will use this degree to help further the leadership skills in Camp. He is also working on raising his bowling score and lowering his golf and appreciates any advice in those areas.
