Nefesh B’Nefesh, Eilat & Thursday’s Trips!

It’s been a while since we’ve written because we’ve been so busy!! Tuesday morning we woke up very early and greeted a Nefesh B’Nefesh aliyah flight (a flight full of people moving to Israel!) at the airport. We then continued on to either rappelling or a water hike- which were both incredibly fun!

Afterwards, we headed down to Eilat to check into our hotel and ate dinner at a local restaurant.

The next morning, some of us woke up at 4:15 am to go on a sunrise hike to Har Tzfachot! It was well worth it and although we were exhausted, we enjoyed the gorgeous view of three surrounding countries and the sun rising behind them. Our full day continued with banana boating and water- tubing on the Eilat beach and then a relaxing cruise on the Red Sea. On our way back North, we stopped in the Yerucham Park for a delicious barbeque dinner. We all had a blast on our Eilat trip!

Today, we also had a very full day. It started out with a regular morning of learning. In the afternoon, we packaged care packages for soldiers expressing our appreciation for all that they do. We then boarded the busses to deliver the presents at a local army base. After a quick stop, we continued on to Yerushalayim to see an inspiring and thought-provoking show, performed by baalei teshuva (Jews who became religious) called Escalators.

Looking forward to a super Shabbos on Michlelet NCSY!
