We had an incredible, fun-filled day today at Michlelet NCSY!

Our morning and afternoon were filled with inspiring and thought-provoking classes and chaburas, as well as fun and unique activities (ever made homemade ice cream in a bag? We did!)! 

At the end of lunch today our Shana Bet-ers pumped us up with a crazy pep rally to get ready for the annual Michlelet vs. GIVE basketball game which took place later tonight! We each received a super cool Michlelet NCSY basketball jersey and wore them with pride!! 

Our guest speaker tonight was the highly esteemed and respected Rav Mayer Twersky, a Rosh Yeshiva at RIETS of Yeshiva University.  We gained tremendously from the beautiful insights he shared with us. 

Finally, our day concluded with the Michlelet vs. GIVE basketball game which surely didn't disappoint! We hosted GIVE with open arms in our beautiful, state of the art gym here at Reishit and played an intense, competitive, and exhilarating game! Everyone agreed it was an incredible evening as we enjoyed seeing our friends on GIVE as well as showing our Michlelet spirit (in a nice and loud way!)! We even performed a half-time show that was the hit of the night!! 

We can't wait for tomorrow for a HUGE jam packed tiyul - Shana Alef is heading off to Masada, Ein Gedi, and the Dead Sea while Shana Bet will be going to Sha'ar Binyamin, Tel Mishkan Shilo, Har Grizim & Har Eival, and the Shomron Mountains. Stay tuned for lots of pictures!!!
