Following regular morning shiurim, the schedule changed in advance of Tisha B’Av. In the early afternoon, we heard a special Sicha from Rav Chaim Marcus. Rav Marcus delivered an outstanding talk that set the perfect tone for the hours ahead.
There were no sports leagues or other activities in the afternoon. Following dinner, there were short Chaburas which helped further set the mood. We had Eicha and Kinnot, which were introduced by Rav Twersky. Through the rest of the evening there were various optional shiurim, and the annual Tisha B’Av Kumsitz.
