Transportation Information:

If your son is getting to camp via:

THE BUS - The stops are listed below. There is one bus making 2 stops, so please be on time. There will be a truck meeting the bus in New Jersey to take any luggage that did not fit under the bus in Cedarhurst and the luggage of those NCSYers taking the bus from New Jersey.  Campers often bring cases of water and even a small refrigerator. It is easier to give your son ten dollars and he can buy water or any drinks he wants on Friday when they go to the mall, which has a supermarket. Larger non-luggage items will only be taken after everything else has been packed, if there is room.

9:30am
NCSY NY Office
555 Willow Ave.
Cedarhurst, NY 11516

10:30am
NCSY NJ Office
1345 Queen Anne Road
Teaneck, NJ 07666

PLANE - Have your son wait at baggage claim, we will be sending vans to pick the NCSYers up at the airport, and they will meet them at baggage claim. Our advisors will be wearing yarmulkas to be easily spotted, we ask the same of your son, so he can be easily spotted.

A TRAIN or PRIVATE BUS- Have your son wait in the main waiting area. It would be helpful to include your son’s cell phone number on the travel form so we can contact him.

A CAR - The address of camp is 400 Mount Wilson lane, Baltimore MD 21208. Some GPS will show Pikesville or Garrison instead of Baltimore. When you enter the campus, turn right and meet us in the circle at the end of the road. Please try to arrive between 1:00 and 3:00.

If there are any problems feel free to call the office phone at 410-653-0405 (This phone will only begin to take camp calls on July 4th. Please do not call this number prior to that date.

Also please remember to tell your son to call you the first day of camp and don’t worry, we will remind him.

Any other information you may need should be found in the original letter you received about camp. I do want to mention again about electronics. In today’s day and age almost anything is accessible from phones, ipods, etc. and it is futile to ban them in camp. This only encourages a culture of trying to hide them from the staff. Therefore, we do allow them in camp, but remind your son that things are easily broken and stolen in camp and therefore should be kept to a minimum. Also any electronic device that is used inappropriately or during learning may get taken away,

The address where you can send mail to your son is:

Please note:  Camp NCSY Sports and #54 must be on the envelope to ensure his receipt of the letter or package. Mail sent directly to Ner Israel will not be delivered to campers.
