For the second Shabbos in Camp Sports, we had the privaledge of having with us and hearing from many guest speakers throughout the weekend.

Aside from the Normal incredible and excited singing and dancing during our Friday Night Davening, which rocked the walls of Ner Israel's campus, before Maariv NCSYers had the chance to hear from Rabbi Kurland, from Sh'or Yoshuv Yeshivah in Far Rockaway, NY. Rabbi Kurland is an incredible educator and author who has spent many years teaching. He began Shabbos with inspiring words to the teens and also led a beautiful Oneg/Tisch on Friday night.

Shabbos morning, NCSYers heard from Rav Sheftl Neuberger, one of the heads of Ner Israel about the founder of the yeshiva, Rav Ruderman, on the day which happened to be the Yarhetzeit of his passing. He spoke about how the Yeshiva was founded in giving each student, no matter who or what they would go on to become, whether a Doctor, Accountant or Educator, the chance and challenge to live their lives with a tremendous breadth of Torah Knowledge and Excellence.

In the afternoon, NCSYers were presented with Judaism's perspective on Christianity and other Religions by expert and former Camp Sports Staff Member Jeremy Lavitt.

To close the weekend out, during the closing Ebbing moments of Shabbos, Rabbi Jon Greene, head of Camp Sports, challenged the NCSYers to "Get Up and Dance!" Filled with inspirational stories and personal messages that relate to each and every NCSYer at their level, they were challenged, not only to think about how they can grow in their relationship and observance of their Judaism, but to get up RIGHT NOW and start NOW! Surrounded by friends, advisors and staff who care about you, there is not better time than right now!

Camp Sports is here to provide the opportunity for the NCSYers, YOU Need to take the step NOW and take advantage!

Saturday night, NCSYers hit the fields with pickup basketball and football games, followed by an Ice Cream Melave Malka with Rabbi Kurland.
