Rav Herschel Shachter Speaks to Camp Sports
On Friday, July 22nd, the NCSYers at Camp Sports had the unique privaledge and opportunity to hear from world renowned posek and Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University, Rav Hershel Schachter. Rav Schachter spoke to the boys about how, despite the passing of over 3,000 years, our Torah, is eternal and never changes. He challenged the boys to make our Torah, our heritage part of their lives too, as we as the Jewish people have done since recieving it at Har Sinai.
After the Shiur, Rav Schachter answered individual questions to campers who asked anything that was on their minds. For many, just having the opportunity to spend time with such a huge Torah Scholar was equally as impactful than the content itself!
