Is it Kosher and Fowl Play
This week in Camp Sports we had the time to see up close and personal the laws of Kashrus and understanding what birds are Kosher and what aren't.
To begin the program, each team had to construct something made only out of a few straws, and a few pieces of masking tape, which would hold a raw egg and protect it from breaking after being dropped from the top of a van.
Next, each team had to take a rubber glove and blow it up to look like a chicken, and we had a contest who can launch their "birds" across the field, seeing who can get it the furthest.
